Class 12:
This is an update as of 04/30/24. I brought the environment into Unreal Engine and used the foliage tool to paint ferns, grass, and twigs . I initially tried copying to points in Houdini but it was taking far too long and I wasn’t getting the result I was looking for and I felt like I didn’t have as much control. I exported the foliage into Maya to combine each individual asset into a single mesh then exported that back into Houdini. It probably isn’t the cleanest workflow but it took far less time and I am much happier with the result.
I created another trunk in SpeedTree that will be placed upfront on screen left.
