Environment

The image above shows where I was at with the environment going into the weekend. I spent most of my spare time last week working on getting the environment rebuilt in Houdini. I got the walls rebuilt using a combination of extruded curves and Quixel rock assets. There was probably a better and more efficient way of going about it but I merged everything, dropped a few mountain nodes with different noise patterns and frequencies, converted that to a VDB and back to polygons and repeated that until I was happy with how it looked.


SpeedTree Assets

The images above show a couple of bushes as well as a vine covered stump in SpeedTree for set-dressing the environment.
