Space Messenger

Here is a look at the update for Space Messenger. I grabbed the character model and clothes from the CLO SET asset store for Marvelous Designer. Everything was fitted in Marvelous and then brought into Maya for little tweaks. I am still very unfamiliar with Marvelous so I had a lot of issues with layering the coat on top of the shirt and pants so I basically soft transform the coat in all the areas where the bottom layers were crashing through while also deleting most of the geo that was getting covered by the coat.

The boots were grabbed from a ripped game model.

It still needs to be UV’d and textured but those updates will come this week.

Adrenaline

Big pivot this weekend. We decided to switch to a winter environment instead of tropical. This is mostly just a quick mockup done in unreal to illustrate what we are trying to go for. It is going to be mostly done in Houdini but we plan to utilize Unreal, SpeedTree, and maybe Gaea.


Riders

I was tasked with 3 shots over the weekend. The first task however was fixing the UV’s for the terrain. I build a randomizer in the material first, and it sort of worked but still caused some tiling issues. After some digging I found some VEX code on a forum that solved the issue.
