Week 7
Update for shot 2 & 3
I ran into some rendering issues and wasn’t able to get some updates in specifically for shots 2 and 3. I made some material adjustments and got the headlights finally working. I also learned that our renderfarm really doesn’t like normal maps when they are plugged into an RS Bump Map node.
This is still in need of some comp work but this at least gives a better example of where the shot is at compared to what was included in our V1 of this weeks vis.
This is a snippet I got back from one of the logs from the renderfarm.
New tire material
One of the notes we got from the mentors was to add a texture to the tires so I brought it into substance and did most of the work there and then brought it back in to Houdini and polished it up and layered some more detail there.
